The reason I want to avoid creating a new GPT or MBR partition table is that I want to keep the manufacturer recovery partition and some other partitions in place. I was thinking it was doing all of this because the Windows 7 Full Install disk I have is from Microsoft and not from HP, so it doesn't have HP's drivers. The reason of doing so is that sometimes Windows updates or something else get hung up.
