Back in the 100MB HDD days, this was a 10 minute process. Think of these as ways of quickly re-installing Windows -- either keeping your personal files or deleting... It helped to solve a string of problems for me. Why Does CHKDSK Run at Every Start Up for Me? Upon pressing the power button, it did shutdown. any suggestion will be very much appropriated.
