Only thing I've done is removed a stick of ram, and since then I've only had 5 freezes in about 43h, compare to 16 the 24 hours before that. HP Pavilion dv7-4010TX . Memtest64 Try both sticks of RAM in the other slots on your Mobo as well (One at a time obviously) and see if it works then. I have only tried twice though (going to try it again after work). I guess I could have super bad luck and they both have gone bad?
