From my experience, this setup should work without any jumper. You can do it through the Disk Management in the Computer Management. Other than that you may need to do Google searches for removing the hard drive from each type of machine. Are you searching in the right location? Can you see the hard drive in there? So while it's fine for one or two files, it doesn't work for something like My Documents (which won't even load).
