Windows 7 Failing To Pick Up External Hard Drive
im sick of it. any ideas? Then you just need to copy your all data in that and format the drive completely.After format your HDD will properly starts working even in Windows. unit lights up, no whirl, device doesn't show up in control panel, management. check my blog

At first it wouldnt recognize the SSD, so I unplugged the other two drive to load the OS. I have even switched ports to see if that would make a difference and it didn't. This process took me a week of heartbreak so i hope i can save some a lot of trouble.

Trying to recover files from an old console HDD after putting it in to an enclosure case. it was preformatted to FAT32 system.
