External Harddrive Crashes Windows File Explorer
I really don't want to format this thing because it contains C: clones of 3 computers and a lot of other stuff that I don't want to re-copy. It is awfully annoying not being able to access my external in explorer. Now however, whenever I plug it in and try to browse it in explorer by going to "computer", the explorer process crashes after a while. FFDshow is a video and audio filter that plays just about anything. It's nowhere near done. (Here) however i opened up disc manager as asked and this is it: Here Looks as if the drive is empty, i can confirm it's not there I use a couple of external drives for backups, plus I always install a drive caddy or two when I build a computer. I have quite a few different folders on my machine that I can no longer use because I cant get into them from any program without it crashing that program.
