Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up task manager and it said disabled by administrator which is me and I did not do. Anyways I am following the steps you outlined and am uninstalling Avast, Daemon Tools Lite and Networx from my PC forthwith. This has only started recently, as of the 7th. check my blog I am busy downloading all of the drivers (over 500mb of them), and I've un-installed daemon tools + netbalancer.
I also have tried disabling the wireless adapter.
The time now is 01:44. Usually it was on Mondays at any given time.
