solved Looking for budget-PC Build to play World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Diablo 3 and League of Legends. I dont know what to call it but it was a shock the other day when it happened. same here i have an ati card.I DEFINATELY think its the drm. When playing games like Dragon Age, Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead, my computer runs smoothly for about 5-10 minutes and then suddenly completely shuts down without warning. While I can still open and actually play these games, I will eventually hardlock within 10-30 minutes.With skyrim ill hardlock automatically at the first part of the game when I exit have a peek at these guys ntoskrnl.exe +18c443B.
I've been getting BSOD while playing games or any heavy software that require resources from my main GPU lately. Then i noticed today i have been running for hours without any issues. no overheat issues. when I check system and tried to refresh windows index there a notification that theres a new hardware detected but every time I tried to re run assement it failed it
I ended up restoring back to a system restore point before I tried to update in order to get the PC usable again, as I need it for work as well. It started today. I am on my third factory reset and I am still getting bsod, this is after no steam and no windows update and the only driver update was java to test My main concern is that when I was playing on XP, I never had any of these issues. I have just upgraded my machine last week from an XFX XXX-Edition GTS 8800 640mb, to a pair of Gigabyte GTX 550Ti cards each with 1 gb memory. The memory diagnostics tool did not find any errors.
